GCE one of the proud partners of IBM,
sponsored RSDC 2008. Being an IBM partner,
GCE took this as an opportunity & joined the
Walt Disney 2008 version of the IBM Rational
Software Development Conference. Rational is
IBM's suite of collaborative software
development solutions for enterprises. The
conference offered 300 sessions in 14 tracks
as well as an executive summit focusing on
generating greater value and performance
from software. There has been 20% growth in
the registrations two years in a row! GCE
Solutions Inc is a contributor to it.
Companies and clients from around the world
made the trek to the five-day extravaganza.
This was the 1st year that GCE got a chance
to make an impression in the IBM Rational
Software Conference. GCE takes pride in
itself in exceeding client expectations
through superior solution delivery and being
a premier Business partner proves so. This
year the theme was “R-Heroes”. With this the
Rational Users teamed up with IBM Rational
to battle the “Forces of Evil” the forces of
evil being - Miscommunication, Misalignment,
Unreasonable Schedules, and Poor Process.
The conference featured a fantastic
assortment of speakers with years and years
of experience in the Quality Management
track.
GCE an IBM Business partner, also presented
its capabilities on how we can contribute
and collaborate with the IBM's mission to
"battle the forces of evil". GCE joined
forces with IBM Rational software to combat
foes like information isolation,
requirements overload, poor processes,
geographical barriers and unproductive
organizational bureaucracy. GCE contributed
to the conference by providing the
information needed to tackle with these
villainous fiends. GCE got an opportunity
to put its booth during the conference which
was used to prove its capabilities by using
different modes of media. GCE also presented
its Cutting Edge Services and Solutions for
IBM RATIONAL tools.
The brochure

presentations and our best technical and
sales persons were present to address
different queries and issues that clients
face in their current business and technical
domains. The presentation showcased a
snapshot of GCE capabilities and
achievements in areas of Configuration
management, Build & Release Management,
Quality Management and Application
Development. Some of the key people who GCE
team met with were – IBM’s Vice President of
Professional Services, Financial Sales
Leader IBM Global Financing, Director-
Business Partner & General Business
Marketing, Channel Development Lead
Competitive Sales Team and many more.
Rational is a longtime player in the
development tools market. IBM says it is
incorporation of social networking.
Fortunately for IBM and its customers, IBM
Rational still has many offerings in its
suite that support traditional development
approaches and most newest innovative
techniques as well. Finding the balance
between the old and new approaches to
software development is a tricky line to
walk not only for IBM, but for its
enterprise customers as well. As few years
back IBM took over Rational same are the
expectation with Telelogic. As Telelogic is
joining under IBM’s big umbrella, GCE with
its experience and expertise in the area
will also prove itself as a key contributor
to this segment as well. |

Technology: GCE Solutions Inc. introduces ACE |
|
According to a recent poll conducted by CIO Magazine, 81
percent of the very large firms say their application
backlog is significant. This is in part due to the lack
of proper tools needed to deploy, configure and manage
these new, highly complex application architectures.
Configuration management consists of controlling an
enterprise's intellectual property - data, processes,
people, and the relationships between them - for
manufactured goods, hardware, software, or any industry
requiring traceability. Accelerated configuration
management solution, allows enterprises to more easily
and reliably control complex, interconnected software
underlying business services that generate revenue and
sustain competitive advantage. At GCE. consultants have
experience and expertise in Enterprise wide roll-outs of
the Accelerated Configuration Management Processes and
Tools for various clients. Our consultants have
certifications in different Configuration Management
tools and are currently working for our clients in
Insurance, Banking, Finance, Healthcare, Mortgage and
Telecommunication industry providing support to our
clients from requirement phase to deployment phase.
Configuration management solutions can play a critical
role in managing change for enterprise IT organizations
focused on the application infrastructure level. There
is no doubt that in today’s complex application
development environments, demand for sophisticated tools
to keep track of “much more than just who is doing what
to which piece of code” is difficult and complex. At GCE
we have pioneered a unique approach in achieving the
same. In a world where failure is more common than
success and where organizations remain unsatisfied with
internal application development results, GCE continues
to work toward minimizing risk and maximizing returns on
investment. |
