Initial Contact (Screening)

When the GCE recruiters find an IT professional like you, they work with you to identify your strengths. They show you what’s open, and match you to the right job by learning about you.

  • Ambition – Everyone has goals, what are yours?
  • Skills – We know you have outstanding skills… Do we know them all?
  • Salary – Let’s be honest, nobody should work for free. So, what number works for you?
  • Availability – Today? Tomorrow? Next week? Let’s be open…
  • Travel – Are you willing and able to travel? If yes, how much?
  • Work status – What’s your work status here in the good old U.S. A.?
  • Motivation – What drives you to succeed and what makes you happy?
  • Pet peeves? We’ll listen!

Technical Screening Interview

If you make the first cut, you’ll have the opportunity to sit and chat with one of the Technical Managers about your experience, skills and probably have you take a web-based skills test. We keep those test results in a super-secret vault. The bottom line is, we want to help align your personal and professional goals with over-all goals of our organization.

Reference Checks

By now, we think you’re awesome, but we want to make sure you’ve proven yourself to others, too. So we’ll check up to three of your references.

Final Selection

Now that’s we’ve reached this far, what’s left is – a discussion with the respective Practice Manager, GCE Project/Hiring Manager or Client Project Manager (in case of allocation to a client project). We have expert Practice Managers who are always up-to-date on what’s going on in both the industry and the local markets. Additionally, our recruitment team guides you at every step of the way, they won’t leave you hanging. They’ll give you interview tips and schedule a mock interview if that will help you seal the deal.

On-boarding

Once you have made through this last cut, GCE will help you settle down comfortably in the new role. Don’t think you’ll on your own. We’ll provided orientation in your first week and then will be given regular feedback on the job. We try to ensure that everyone is happy.
